Ariana Grande visits injured fans in Manchester

Ariana Grande has made a return to the UK, following last week’s attack on the Manchester Arena, which took place after one of the singer’s concerts.

Grande, who is set to take part in the One Love Manchester benefit concert on Sunday, visited young fans at the Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital on Friday.

Last week, the singer’s record label donated half a million dollars to a fundraising programme put in place to help the victims and their families. According to the LA Times;

Universal Music Group, the parent company to Grande’s label Republic Records, donated $500,000 to the “We Love Manchester Memorial Fund,”

The Universal Music Group global family is proud to stand with Ariana Grande and its other performing artists in their support for the victims and families affected by the Manchester attack,” the company said in a statement.

A star-studded array of artists are expected to take part in the One Love Manchester event this weekend, including Justin Bieber, Katy Perry, Coldplay, Take That and Miley Cyrus.
