Inaugural My Good Planet Awards set for Munich, Germany

My Good Planet is about to celebrate in style with the first annual My Good Planet Awards.

The event will take place at the lavish Hotel Bayrischer Hof, Munich, Germany on Nov. 16, 2017, and will feature a cascade of philanthropic, innovative and worthy recipients.

Set to catapult My Good Planet’s focus onto a global platform, whilst further highlighting the ethos and intention of the organisation, the My Good Planet Awards will pay tribute to some of the great people who have believed in and supported our mission, all whilst carrying out magnificent work of their own.

The show will be hosted by My Good Planet co-founders Dr. Christian and Christiane Hirmer, along with My Good Planet President Ulli Lommel, and presented by anchor Nola Roeper.

Firstly, we are delighted to announce that Tito Jackson (The Jackson 5) will be joining us.

Following on from his hugely successful 2016 visit to Rio as My Good Planet ambassador (in which he retraced his brother’s steps making the They Don’t Care About Us), Tito Jackson will not only attend the ceremony, but also speak to a gathering of Michael Jackson fans in front of the Hotel.

The Bayrischer Hof has, since 2009, become a shrine and gathering place for fans and admirers of the King of Pop. As we at My Good Planet are committed to continuing Michael’s message of love, caring and healing the planet to the world, we felt that this was a way to connect his fans with his legacy.

There will also be a collective performance of the official My Good Planet anthem Winning by Giving will be sung by all.

Additionally, German superstar and activist, Uschi Glas, will also be receiving a My Good Planet Award, primarily for the magnificent work that she does with her charity outlet; brotZeit.

Joining us all the way from Los Angeles is comedian and public speaker, Craig Shoemaker, whose Laughter Heals project aims to bring health and happiness to the world through comedy.
